The single most important piece of equipment that is essential to every aspect of K9 operations.
With a tested load rating of 480kg, our leads are designed with safety and strength in mind. From the UV treatment, the high tensile strength material, the inbuilt swivel and the gripped handle, we have built these leads for the long term.
Length and colour options mean you can choose a variation that suits your operational needs, handling preference and agency colour schemes.

To best grip the Leads, loop your thumb in the gripped handle (left), allow the handle to fold over your palm (centre) and grip the handle with your thumb still looped inside the grip (right).
This is called a thumb lock and will allow maximum grip strength but still be able to let go quickly if required.
Our Leads use a steel snap clip with an inbuilt swivel to avoid twists and tangles.
The handle is covered in a synthetic rubber called ToughTek to ensure your hands do not slip whilst holding the Leads.
The material we use is a 17337 MilSpec Nylon webbing with a width of 1"/25mm.
It is UV treated to avoid sun damage and has a tensile strength of 2.500lb/1,360kg.
